Masoala Forest Lodge is set on Madagascar east coast on Cap Masoala Peninsula. The peninsula protects one of the last pristine stretch of rainforest of the Country. From the lodge you can explore at your leisure this untouched paradise hiking in the forest, with kayaks or traditional pirogues, snorkeling or swimming in the safe, calm, clear waters.
From July to Septermber Masoala Forest Lodge organizes whale watching trips to admire these fabulous ocean giants. The Lodge consists of 7 treehouse tents elevated from the ground on stilted wooden platforms to provide views of the forest canopy and allowing guests to experience the forest from the perspective of lemurs and birds. Tents are equipped with en-suite bathroom with hot water.
The beach house with views of the beach and of Antongil Bay serves as common dining, lounge and bar area. Based on traditional local design and constructions, common areas are also stilted, thatched, providing natural lighting and ventilation in an efficient style.
